Outlast. The mention of this series of horror games by Red Barrels evokes a lot of emotions. It all started in 2013, and in 11 years, we have three full games, one expansion pack, and other projects that expand the game's universe. And if you were looking for an opportunity to buy most of the games at once at a discount, you can now do it on Steam.
Here's What We Know
Outlast is a series of first-person survival horror games. The main characters of Outlast do not have combat abilities. They have to run, hide, or die. Their only weapon is a video camera, which they must use to record the horrific events that unfold during the game. The camcorder also has a night vision mode to help you navigate in the dark.
In the first part of Outlast and the Whistleblower expansion pack, we find ourselves in the Mount Massive mental hospital. The second part takes us to a settlement in Arizona where religious fanatics live.
The Outlast Trinity set includes three games: Outlast, the Whistleblower DLC, and Outlast 2. Its price is $26. It is also worth noting that Outlast 2 has a separate discount. The second part can be purchased for $5.
