The drama that unfolds around the popular and until recently loved by millions of gamers co-operative shooter Helldivers 2 has received an unexpected continuation.

Recall that on the 3rd of May Sony announced that in order to save access to the game on PC, all users must link to Steam account PlayStation Network or create it in the absence of it.

From love to hate, one solution: gamers dropped Helldivers 2's rating because of the need to link an account to the PlayStation Network and dissatisfaction of the public, which immediately dropped the rating of Helldivers 2 in half.

Here's What We Know

Today, Helldivers 2 has been withdrawn from sale on Steam in over 170 countries, including Albania, Montenegro, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Monaco, Cuba, and the Philippines.

Officially Sony has not explained the reason for such a drastic decision, but as the main version it is believed that in those regions it is difficult or impossible to access PSN. However, this does not cancel the fact that many players have already spent money to buy Helldivers 2, but not everyone can get their money back.

These decisions of Sony look more than strange, especially since the manager of the development studio said that the binding to PSN will not be made mandatory for all players, if there is no solution to regional problems.
