Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 users in South Korea have started receiving the One UI 6.1 update

Samsung is updating to One UI 6.1 not only its smartphones, but also its tablets. It became known that the Galaxy Tab Active 5 rugged tablet has started updating to One UI 6.1.

The new firmware for the Galaxy Tab Active 5 is now available for users in South Korea. The update comes with the build number X306NKOU1AXD7. The tablet will get a host of new features such as copying objects from one image and pasting them into another, the ability to change the speed of a video while editing it, creating depth effects in wallpapers, improved Gallery search, new widgets on the lock screen, improved Quick Share and Weather apps, and more. Galaxy AI features, on the other hand, won't be available for this model.

The update will be available in other regions soon. You will be able to check for its availability by going to Settings, then Software Update and select Download and Install.
