Media: not one, but two new seasons of the historical series Shogun are in production
A few days ago it became known that the channel FX approved the production of the second season of the hit historical series "Shogun" (Shogun).
But the producers' plans turned out to be much wider than expected.
Here's What We Know
Initially, "Shogun" was created as a mini-series, ten episodes of which included all the events from the novel of the same name by James Clavell, and the second season for him was not planned.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, FX executives have agreed to produce not only a second season of Shogun, but also a third.
It is likely that viewers will see a continuation of the story of Oda Nobunaga (Nobunaga Oda), but without being tied to the novel by an American writer.
Recall, the production of the first season took six years, so how long it will take for the second and third - remains only a guess.
