Rumour: Apple will launch an all-new iPhone 17 model next year - with a thinner body and more expensive than the Pro Max
Despite the fact that Apple has not yet unveiled the iPhone 16 lineup, the media is already actively discussing rumours about the future iPhone 17 smartphones. And if a new leak is to be believed, Apple is ready to revise the composition of the future series.
Here's What We Know
According to The Information, there will be changes in the iPhone 17 lineup next year: the manufacturer may release a completely new model with a "significantly thinner" design. It is assumed that Apple is preparing a serious redesign of this model: the main camera unit may move from the upper left corner of the device to the centre, and the Dynamic Island cutout will be narrower.
The smartphone should also get a 6.1-inch to 6.7-inch display, an A19 processor and an improved front camera.
The report says that the new model will belong to the higher end of the lineup and will be more expensive than the Pro Max, which is currently priced from $1199.
At the same time, the lineup will still have 4 models as Apple has no plans to release the iPhone 17 Plus next year.
The report warns that Apple is still testing multiple designs for the new iPhone, and potential delays could push the device's release beyond 2025.
