Based on the experience of Ukraine: Czech Republic to equip army with FPV drones
The Czech Republic, adopting Ukraine's experience, is equipping its ground forces with small FPV drones for reconnaissance and strike.
Here's What We Know
Czech army spokeswoman Colonel Magda Dvoráková said that training programmes for piloting FPV drones have already begun. These measures partly stem from the new army concept approved in February this year.
The reason for arming the army with FPV drones is not limited to the fact that the Ukrainian military has been successfully using them. Another important factor is that the Czech military leadership is engaged in an initiative to supply Ukraine with thousands of FPV drones. They are assembled in the Czech Republic from parts supplied mainly from Asia.
Over the next three years, the military will continue intensive training in piloting drones and practicing methods of their massive use in combat. In particular, experimental courses are being held to train in the use of small tactical strike FPV drones.
In addition, the Czech army is interested in purchasing barrage munitions, including "kamikaze drones".
