Insider: DOOM: The Dark Ages, the new instalment in the iconic shooter series, will be announced in just two weeks' time
Not so long ago, authoritative journalist Tom Warren hinted that at the Xbox Games Showcase may be announced a new part of the cult and mega-popular shooter series DOOM.
Even then, there was little doubt about the reliability of this information, but now Tom Henderson finally dispelled them.
Here's What We Know
As it became known to insider Tom Henderson, for at least four years the development of a new part of DOOM under the codename "Year Zero" - remember, this is the name that appeared in the leaked documents Microsoft.
Henderson's sources said that the shooter will be released under the name DOOM: The Dark Ages and in some way will be played with the theme of the Middle Ages, as indicated by the subtitle - "Dark Ages".
The insider believes that the new part of the famous series may become a prequel to DOOM (2016) and Doom Eternal.
Henderson shares Tom Warren's opinion and is sure that DOOM: The Dark Ages will be presented at the Xbox Games Showcase on 9 June.
