Insider: Sony will hold a massive game show over the next few days, but it won't be PlayStation Showcase
Recently, numerous insiders have reported that Sony will hold a massive game show at the end of May, where it will unveil new products and reveal the release dates of already announced projects.
Most insiders agreed that it would be the PlayStation Showcase, which last year was held in the last days of May. But according to blogger NateTheHate, Sony has slightly different plans for this show.
Here's What We Know
When asked by one of his Twitter followers when to expect PlayStation Showcase, the insider replied that Sony will hold the show early this coming week, but it will be State of Play. Consequently, gamers can expect a smaller presentation than previously thought, but it's surprising that the month is already ending and Sony has yet to announce the event. It is likely to happen in no time at all.
Sony's May event is still on track; but I expect it to be a State of Play early next week.

As for PlayStation Showcase 2024, back at the Insiders have shared the first information about the PlayStation Showcase, but the announced dates for the event vary considerably and analyst Roberto Serrano revealed that Sony will hold this massive presentation in the second half of 2024, most likely in September.
