Apple considers horizontal logo on new iPads
The French website Numerama conducted a survey among three senior Apple employees about the new iPad Pro models released earlier this month.
Here's What We Know
During the meeting with Apple representatives, many new details were not disclosed, but they mentioned a possible change in the placement of the company's logo on the devices. Currently, the Apple logo on the back of the iPad is vertically positioned, but with the popularity of using devices in landscape orientation, this may change.
Molly Anderson, Apple's product designer, suggested that a horizontal placement of the Apple logo may be possible on future iPad models.
However, when it comes to software, Apple has already started to display the Apple logo when the iPad boots up in landscape orientation, starting with iPadOS 14.5.
The change in logo placement could be important for users who often use the iPad in horizontal mode with a keyboard.
