Almost 8 million people played the XDefiant shooter in the first week: Ubisoft planned to attract 5 million after the first month alone

We wrote that within 2 days of its release, Ubisoft's free-to-play online shooter XDefiant attracted 3 million players. And in a week, this figure has grown significantly.

Insider Tom Henderson reports that XDefiant already has 7.6 million unique players in the first week of its release. By the end of 28 May, this figure should exceed 8 million.

We would like to remind you that 1 million unique players played XDefiant in the first 2.5 hours. This is the first Ubisoft game to reach this figure so quickly.

Ubisoft had a goal of reaching 5 million players in a month. As we can see, they have exceeded the plan.
