Flashback

The Pansarbandvagn 302 (Pbv 302) is a Swedish tracked armoured personnel carrier developed by Hägglund & Söner in the 1960s. It was adopted by the Swedish Army in 1966. The Pbv 302 is powered by a Volvo diesel engine, providing high mobility and speeds of up to 65 km/h on roads. The vehicle is armed with a 20mm automatic cannon and machine gun, providing good fire support. The Pbv 302 can carry up to 11 soldiers along with the crew. The armoured personnel carrier has protection against small arms fire and shrapnel. The Pbv 302 was actively used in various operations until the early 2000s, after which it was partially replaced by more modern vehicles.

Rb 99 is the Swedish designation for the American AIM-120 AMRAAM (Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile) guided missile, adapted for use on Swedish fighter aircraft. The Rb 99 missile is designed to engage air targets at medium and long ranges in all weather conditions. It is equipped with an active radar homing head, which allows it to be launched on a "shoot-and-forget" basis. The Rb 99 has high manoeuvrability and speed, making it effective against a variety of aerial threats.
