Path of Exile 2 developers have confirmed the game's availability on Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, with a release coming later this year
New Zealand studio Grinding Gear Games shared important news about ambitious action-RPG Path of Exile 2 during the State of Play show.
Here's What We Know
The developers officially confirmed that the game will be released not only on PC, but also on consoles. It is stated that Path of Exile 2 will be released in Early Access in late 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
Grinding Gear Games published a special video in which they said that although Diablo-like games, which include Path of Exile 2, are traditionally considered entertainment for PC-gamers because of the specific controls, their game designers put a lot of effort to make passing through the action-RPG with a gamepad as comfortable and intuitive as possible. Gamers will be offered convenient controls, large text font, adapted interface and other conveniences.
In addition, the developers will implement in Path of Exile 2 cross-play between all platforms, so that users of different devices will be able to play the game together, in which there will be an option of local co-op.
