Android 15 beta is now available for Nothing Phone (2)
Nothing has announced the launch of beta testing of a new version of the Android 15 operating system for its flagship Nothing Phone (2) smartphone. This update comes following the recent expansion of the beta testing programme that was already available for the Phone (2a) model.
Here's What We Know
As with the Phone (2a) model, there are some known issues with the build, such as the inability to add new fingerprints and the use of Face Unlock. The update requires a pre-installed version of Nothing OS 2.5.5, which can be downloaded wirelessly.
Nothing developers are actively working on integrating Android 15 and adapting Nothing OS' own user interface to the new system features. Company representatives invite everyone to join the testing and evaluate the capabilities of the preliminary version of the new OS.
However, it should be noted that the current beta version of Android 15 is in the early stages of development and many features may not be available or may work with errors. Therefore, installing this version is recommended only for developers and experienced users who are ready to face potential difficulties in device operation.
