Work on two projects in the Silent Hill franchise, subtitled Townfall and F, is on track: the series' producer has reassured fans
A few days ago Konami held a Silent Hill Transmission show, which was Silent Hill 2 Remake's extensive gameplay trailer showed the game in its best light and encouraged those waiting for the updated horror game and the film Return to Silent Hill, which will be an adaptation of the second part of the cult Japanese horror.
Fans of the franchise noticed that within the said presentation, the company never once mentioned the two games subtitled Townfall and F, which were announced back in late 2022.
Such silence could lead gamers to think that the development of these projects faced difficulties or cancelled, but the developers hastened to reassure Silent Hill fans.
Here's What We Know
In the article of Silent Hill franchise producer Motoi Okamoto, published in PlayStation.Blog, it is explicitly stated that everything is fine with the games and the development of Silent Hill: Townfall and Silent Hill f is going according to plan. About these horror games will be told "when the time is right".
Recall, the indie publisher Annapurna Interactive is working on Silent Hill: Townfall , the game will offer an alternative view of the cult franchise, but will retain a bias towards psychological thriller.
The events of Silent Hill f will unfold not in the familiar cursed American town, but in 1960s Japan. Taiwanese studio NeoBards Entertainment (the developer of Resident Evil: Resistance) is working on the game.
