Flashback
The Korkut is a Turkish short-range anti-aircraft system developed by Aselsan to protect ground troops and infrastructure from aerial threats. The Korkut consists of a self-propelled artillery unit and a command and control vehicle. The artillery unit is equipped with two 35mm automatic cannons capable of engaging aircraft, helicopters, drones and missiles at a range of up to 4 kilometres. The system utilises an advanced radar and optronic guidance system. Korkut can operate autonomously or be integrated into a common air defence system. The complex is in service with the Turkish army.
