T-Series, the music label's channel from Indian Bollywood, previously set the record in 2019, overtaking PewDiePie, and has held it since. MrBeast took the top spot after gaining 11 million subscribers in a single day, which Donaldson said was the most the channel had ever gained in a single day.
As of 3 June, MrBeast surpassed 270 million subscribers.
