New Google tool allows you to transfer Live Photos from iOS to Android

The latest update to Google's Data Transfer Tool app (also known as Pixel Migrate on Pixel devices) has added support for transferring Live Photos from iOS to Android.

Here's What We Know

These Live Photos are automatically converted to Motion Photos during the transfer process, allowing users to preserve their memories without using cloud services. This feature is currently under development and is expected in future versions of the app.

For consumers who are planning to switch from iPhone to Android, this could come as a significant relief as they will be able to keep their Live Photos without the need for conversion or the use of additional services.
