Estonia is preparing a new aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The information was shared by the Ministry of Defence of the country. The new aid package will include portable Mistral surface-to-air missile systems and missiles for them. For security reasons, the number of launchers and missiles will not be disclosed. Estonia is also not saying when the arms deliveries will begin.

Mistral is a man-portable surface-to-air missile system developed by the French company MBDA to engage air targets at low altitudes. The main feature of Mistral is its infrared homing head, which provides high accuracy and reliability in hitting targets such as helicopters, aircraft and drones.
