Poland received the second Saab 340B AEW-300 long-range radar detection and control aircraft
The Polish Air Force has received another Saab 340B AEW-300 aircraft into service.

It is about the second aircraft. This was announced by the Polish embassy in Sweden. The aircraft arrived at the airbase in Gdynia. In the near future Saab 340B AEW-300 will go on combat duty. By the way, Poland signed a contract to buy two Saab 340B AEW-300s in July 2023. The amount of the deal was $58 million.

The Saab 340B AEW-300 is a Swedish long-range radar detection and control (AEW&C) aircraft. It is equipped with a PS-890 Erieye radar with an active phased array. The aircraft is capable of detecting its own and enemy targets at a range of up to 450 kilometres. The aircraft has a crew of six.
