Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra in more than just the Korean market

For some time now, there have been rumours that Samsung is preparing to release a new foldable model - the Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra. This device will be the first in the Galaxy Fold series to get the "Ultra" prefix. The new Fold 6 Ultra, contrary to initial assumptions, will be available not only in the Korean market, but also in China.

Here's What We Know

Our colleagues from Android Headlines found in their database a smartphone codenamed Q6A, which is likely to be the Chinese variant of the Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra. The new product will get the model number SM-W9025 and will likely be sold in China under the name "Galaxy W25 Ultra". This is in line with Samsung's strategy of using different marketing names for the Chinese market, as it did with the previous Galaxy Fold 5 and Galaxy Flip 5 models, which were released in China as the Galaxy W24 and Galaxy W24 Flip.

The new Galaxy W25 Ultra is expected to have the same specs as its Korean counterpart Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra. Therefore, it is likely to be the same phone with different names.

According to some information, the regular Galaxy Fold 6 will be wider than its predecessor and while renders of the Fold 6 have already been published, the Ultra model is nowhere to be seen yet, which could point to its later release, possibly in 2025.
