Bandi Namco releases Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD Remaster on PC

Unexpectedly for fans, Bandai Namco has released a remaster of Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD on PC - the game costs $49.99 on Steam, but those who purchase the game before 17 July can get the Month 1 Edition, which contains a digital artbook.

Here's What We Know

Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD Remaster contains the first two games in the series - Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins in a single wrapper. The remaster features improved overall visuals with more detailed characters, updated menu screens, support for 16:9 displays, and general "quality of life" improvements such as auto-save, hint menus, and new gameplay options such as disabling fights and increasing game speed.

Players can start a new playthrough in New Game+ mode, carrying over all levels and Magnus, or choose New Game mode, which limits the number of levels for a more challenging playthrough.
