Shadow of the Erdtree just got a little friendlier: studio FromSoftware has released an update that balances the difficulty of the Elden Ring add-on
FromSoftware studio promptly responded to the criticism of the Shadow of the Erdtree add-on for Elden Ring and released patch 1.12.2.
Recall, many gamers were dissatisfied, in their opinion, overestimated and unfair complexity of the add-on and began to lower the scores in Steam.
Here's What We Know
Japanese developers made adjustments to the amount of health and damage of enemies, making players a little stronger. In addition, some weapon characteristics and the effects of Blessings have been revised.
The patch also improved the technical state of Shadow of the Erdtree. FromSoftware discovered a bug that caused FPS spikes and unstable game performance - this bug has been fixed.
The developers warned that when loading saves made in the previous version of Elden Ring, PC-gamers automatically enabled ray tracing. If this option interferes with the correct operation of the game - it must be disabled independently.
There will be several more patches for Elden Ring in the near future, the work on them is already underway, but FromSoftware's game designers are not ready to name their release dates.
