An action button will appear in Google Tasks
According to APK analysis, Google Tasks may lose the bottom bar in favour of a floating action button (FAB).
Here's What We Know
Currently, the bottom bar of Google Tasks provides access to features such as creating new tasks, navigating to other lists, and sorting tasks. According to the APK review, these options will be moved to other places in the user interface if FAB is introduced.
Here's How It Works
The new FAB doesn't work in the current version of Google Tasks yet, but it can be enabled using special tools. Once activated, FAB appears in the bottom right corner of the screen and can be clicked to create a new task. Other functions, such as sorting, are now available through a menu that appears when you tap and hold a task.
It is not yet known when Google will officially release this change.
