Although iOS 18 hasn't brought revolutionary changes to privacy and security, there are still some interesting features worth noting.
Here's What We Know
- Improved access control to contacts: Users have more flexibility in choosing which contacts they want to share with certain apps.
- Block and hide apps: Protect sensitive information by hiding or blocking access to specific apps on the Home screen.
- RCS support: Finally, iPhone users will be able to send rich text messages (RCS) to Android users, with access to better features like read notifications and improved security.
- New Apple Passwords app: Easily manage passwords stored in Keychain with a new, more accessible app.
- Private Cloud Computing (PCC): Ensure data privacy when processing artificial intelligence requests on Apple's servers with encryption.
