Apple introduces personalised weather tracking on iPhone, Mac and iPad
Apple is preparing significant updates to its built-in iPhone apps, including the popular Weather app. One of the main innovations will be two new features aimed at making the app easier to use and more useful.
Here's What We Know
The first new feature is the display of the actual temperature next to the temperature reading, which appears prominently at the top of the screen. This allows users to quickly assess how the weather is feeling, which is especially important when there are large temperature fluctuations.
The second new option is to automatically track the weather for the user's home and work. Using information from Contacts, the app automatically adds home and work addresses to the list of monitored locations, making it easier to get up-to-date weather information for these key locations.
These updates will be available not only on iPhone, but also on Mac and iPad when macOS Sequoia and iPadOS 18 are released.
