Bungie is changing its approach to Destiny 2's online shooter development system: new events will appear at the beginning of each act instead of once a week
Bungie Studios held a broadcast to talk about the changes in the development system of the Destiny 2 online shooter, which will begin with the second act of The Final Shape expansion.
Here's What We Know
Previously, the developers planned that every week in the game will appear new elements that reveal the plot of DLC and the general events of the Destiny universe.
However, taking into account the players' complaints that the information comes in too small portions, the authors revised their approach and now the story will be continued not once a week, but at the beginning of each act - once in six weeks.
The next such act will start on July 16 and will offer players new quests, weapons, armour and more.
Overall, Bungie is abandoning Destiny 2's seasonal development model, which has been around for years, and will try to flesh out the game using an episodic system, which will begin to be implemented in October.
