Star Wars Outlaws has the biggest advertising budget of any Ubisoft game - the company is confident in the action game's success
Ubisoft is not stingy with marketing campaigns for its games - they are always large-scale, creative and expensive. But it looks like the company is going to outdo itself with the Star Wars Outlaws advert.
Ubisoft report surprises: online games Skull & Bones and XDefiant have "exceeded company expectations" and are performing well, the head of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot talked to investors and mentioned an interesting fact.
Here's What We Know
Yves Guillemot said that Ubisoft is confident in the success of Star Wars Outlaws action game and spared no money for the promotional campaign.
We are counting on a successful release of Star Wars Outlaw. It is one of the most anticipated games in the industry this year, which is backed by strong positive sentiment in the community as well as the biggest marketing campaign for Ubisoft games.
Yves Guimault's optimism is understandable, as this is the first Star Wars game with a full open world and the first new project in over a decade that wasn't developed by Electronic Arts. Plus, it's hard to imagine a more popular and well-known franchise than Star Wars.
However, looking at the latest materials, gamers doubted the quality of Outlaws, to which Ubisoft gives a categorical answer: everything is fine with the game and nobody will postpone its release.
When We Can Expect It
Players will be able to make sure of the quality of Star Wars Outlaws on 30 August on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
