Great news from BioWare: Dragon Age: The Veilguard is almost ready, will get Steam Deck compatibility and will be available without Electronic Arts' annoying services.

BioWare studio shared important news about the ambitious RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Here's What We Know

First of all, the Canadian developers assured that they are seeing significant progress in the production of the game and are confident in its soon and successful release. They said that on the day of release the game will be available not only on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, but will also get compatibility with Steam Deck handheld console.

Valve and BioWare have already tested Dragon Age: The Veilguard and can guarantee that Steam Deck users will have no problems installing and running the game.

Another good news was the announcement that when buying the game on Steam, gamers will be able to access it without having to download the EA App or register an account with Origin.

Electronic Arts has been repeatedly criticised for such a restriction and in the case of Dragon Age: The Veilguard decided to abandon it.

In addition, BioWare has promised that the release date and details of the promising RPG will be announced at the end of summer, probably at gamescom 2024.
