Creative Assembly studio and Sega publisher released the biggest Dynasties update for the historical strategy game Total War: Pharaoh.

Here's What We Know

Dynasties is a massive free update the size of a traditional paid addon. In it, the developers added the ability to play as Troy, Babylon, Mesopotamia and other regions of the Aegean Sea.

In total, the game has four new major factions and 25 minor ones. The developers have significantly expanded the map of Total War: Pharaoh and increased the scope of battles. But the main feature of the update was the appearance of a complex system of Dynasties, which will allow one family to hold power for centuries.

The Dynasties update is available as a separate Total War: Pharaoh expansion pack for all purchasers of the base game. It launches separately and is incompatible with modifications for the original game.

Additionally, there is no crossplay or cross-progression between Pharaoh and Dynasties. Essentially, players now have two games in their library.

Dynasties was the last content update for Total War: Pharaoh. Next, the developers from Creative Assembly will continue to improve the technical state of the game and fix bugs, but there will be no more new content.
