Fishing, crossbows and new portraits: the developer of medieval strategy game Manor Lords has revealed what innovations will appear in the next major update
Grzegorz Styczeń, the developer of the medieval strategy game Manor Lords, has already said that with the next major update he will switch the game to Unreal Engine 5. This will improve not only the quality of images and visual effects, but also optimisation, which will have a positive impact on the overall performance and stability of the game.
The game designer continues to reveal his plans and published a short list of new elements of Manor Lords.
Here's What We Know
The next update, the release date of which is still unknown, will add to the game the ability to fish in the pond for food and sale, including winter fishing.
In addition, Manor Lords will have new portraits of settlers and functioning crossbows, which will allow you to better arm the militia and more effectively defend against raids from neighbours.
The developer promises to fix several bugs, including those related to annoying deer.
Grzegorz Styceni hopes that the use of Unreal Engine 5 will allow to release updates for Manor Lords faster and bring the game to a full-fledged release, including on consoles.
Manor Lords is available in Early Access on Steam, Microsoft Store, EGS and GOG, as well as in the Game Pass catalogue.
