Mortal Kombat 1 fighting game Invasions has launched its seventh season.

Here's What We Know

The event is called Season of the Soul Eater and offers players to fight the powerful sorcerer Shang Tsung once again.

In the battles players will be able to get new cosmetic items for various characters, which will be available in other modes.

Season of the Soul Eater will run until the 24th of September, and immediately after its completion for Mortal Kombat 1 will be released a major story add-on Khaos Reigns, a free update and Kombat Pack 2 with new heroes.
