"The people have been heard" - the developers of Frostpunk 2 talked about the changes made to the strategy after analysing the feedback and wishes of players
Studio 11 bit continues to release the City Unbound video series, which is dedicated to the nuances of the Frostpunk 2 city-building strategy game.
Here's What We Know
The fifth video from the Polish developers is called The People Have Been Heard and tells about the changes that were made to the game after analysing the feedback and wishes of the players after testing Frostpunk 2.
Jakub Stokalski, the game director and design director of Frostpunk 2, said that the players' comments proved to be valuable, because although they were generally satisfied with the game, there were a few critical flaws in it, which caused the game's release to be postponed.
In particular, the developers have added more life and dynamics to the city and its development, and the construction of new buildings and neighbourhoods now feels like progress.
11 bit has also introduced additional options for managing city services and staff to give players more freedom and control. After analysing player feedback, Frostpunk 2 has also added a special building resource that will expand gameplay mechanics, but will also increase the complexity of building selection.
The developers are sincerely grateful to everyone who left comments and hope that the final result will please the players.
When We Can Expect It
Frostpunk 2 will be released on the 20th of September. At first the game will be available only on PC, and later it will be released on consoles as well, and will be available in the Game Pass catalogue from day one.
