Trailer for Minecraft film adaptation has been massively criticised: it has more than 500 thousand dislikes
On 4 September, Warner Bros. showed a trailer for the film adaptation of Minecraft starring Black Jack. However, the trailer was massively criticised and drowned in dislikes.
Here's What We Know
Currently, the trailer has 388 thousand likes and 537 thousand dislikes on YouTube. In the comments, people note that it looks like an April Fools' joke, not a full-fledged film with a big budget. Another popular opinion is that the authors should have just made a high-quality CGI film, as they did with Sonic the Hedgehog, rather than making a mixture of graphics and real actors, because it looks too cheap.
It's unlikely that the film will get high marks, but there are chances for good box office receipts due to the fact that Minecraft is one of the most confusing games in the history of mankind.
When We Can Expect It
The premiere will take place on 4 April.
