UK to buy £300m worth of artillery for Ukraine

The UK Ministry of Defence has recently announced a contract for the purchase of 152mm ammunition for Ukraine, which will cost around £300 million.
Here's What We Know
According to the plan, several thousand shells are to be delivered by the end of the year. The contract for the supply of artillery ammunition was signed with the Defence Equipment & Support division of the Ministry of Defence.
The agreement provides for the supply of 120,000 new shells over the next 18 months, which will stimulate the development of industrial capacity in Europe and ensure reliable supply chains.
In addition, it is also said that eight other countries have joined the UK to provide over £1 billion in total to the International Fund for Ukraine.
