Sony Xperia 5 VI won't be out in 2024

Sony has been releasing two flagships a year for five years: the Xperia 1 and the room version of the Xperia 5. Unfortunately, this year the second model is not worth waiting for.

Here's What We Know

This was revealed by Masao Mizuno, general manager of the mobile business unit of Sony Marketing division, during a press conference in Japan. Why Sony decided to postpone the release of Xperia 5 VI company does not say, but we can assume that it is due to low sales of the model.

By the way, Sony is still selling the Xperia 5 V smartphone, which was released in 2023. Apart from this, the Xperia 5 IV from 2022 can also be found on sale in some markets.

Whether the Xperia 5 VI will appear in 2025 or the company will completely abandon the model is still unknown.
