The Penguin authors confirmed that there will be another series in Pattinson's Batman universe in the future

The Penguin series, which is a spin-off of Batman (2022), will be released on 19 September. Critics have already praised the project, but after Penguin, we will have another series in the Batman universe.

Initially, there were plans for other spin-offs, one of which focused on the Gotham Police Department and the other on Arkham Asylum.

However, in July, Reeves reported that HBO had dropped both ideas. According to him, the studio wanted to "focus more on the main characters".

The Direct spoke to Penguin executive producers Matt Reeves and Dylan Clark during a press event dedicated to the upcoming HBO series, where Clark revealed that another Batman spin-off is in development.

The authors did not disclose the details of what kind of series it will be and what exactly it will be about, but it is clear that this universe will be expanded as much as possible.

It is also already known that Matt Reeves plans to create a trilogy about Batman, and the events of the second film will take place in winter.
