The Ukrainian Army will receive a new domestic all-terrain amphibious vehicle "TAKHA", which can cope with most types of obstacles
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive new domestically produced all-terrain vehicles.
Here's What We Know
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has allowed the amphibious all-terrain vehicle "TAKHA" for operation.
This novelty is equipped with an economical (5-8 l/100 km) diesel engine made in Korea by Doosan.
The vehicle can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h on land and up to 6 km/water and can carry up to 1 tonne of cargo or 10 passengers.
"TAHA" moves on ice, sand, mud, overcomes obstacles up to 1 metre high and moves upwards at an angle of 30 degrees. This is possible thanks to the huge low-pressure wheels and clearance of 600 mm.
The main purpose of the all-terrain amphibious vehicle "TAKHA" is evacuation of soldiers, including wounded (there is a place for stretchers in the cabin), delivery of ammunition and food and towing of vehicles weighing up to 2.4 tonnes.
The amphibious all-terrain vehicle "TAKHA" will be an important acquisition for the AFU, especially before the onset of the autumn-winter period, when the movement of other types of transport on the front will be significantly complicated.
