As it turns out, with the iOS 18.1 Beta 5 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 Beta 5 update, Apple has improved the iPhone Mirroring feature.

Here's What We Know

With iPhone Mirroring, you can now quickly drag and drop files between your smartphone and computer. To transfer a photo, just open the Photos app and drag it to your PC.

If you want to quickly transfer a PDF file, go to the Files app, then drag it from iPhone to Mac or back.

The new iPhone Mirroring feature is available in beta for developers, and public beta participants will be able to try it out later this week. The innovation will be available to everyone with the release of iOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 in October.
