New footage of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach showed atmospheric staged scenes and revealed the names of the central characters
At Tokyo Game Show 2024, Sony and studio Kojima Productions held a presentation of one of the most anticipated games of 2025 - Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
Here's What We Know
During the event developers of Death Stranding 2 presented a little bit of information and all of it is in Japanese, so Western gamers will be more interested in seeing the video footage.
They show several staged scenes with the participation of, perhaps, all the main characters, the roles of which are played by famous actors and media personalities. Thus, actress Elle Fanning will play the heroine named Tommorow, and Japanese celebrity Shioli Kutsuna will play a pregnant girl Rainy, famous director George Miller gave his appearance to one-armed captain Tarman, his colleague Fatih Akin will play a talking doll Dollmen. Nicolas Winding Refn will reappear as Heartman.
The presented scenes look as mysterious as possible and each of them is worthy of a separate analysis, but all the meanings and hidden meanings can be learnt only by playing the game, and as always with Hideo Kojima, more than once.

When We Can Expect It
Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is expected to release in 2025 only on PlayStation 5, but apparently the game will eventually come to PC.
