Netflix has begun shooting a feature film about Peaky Blinders: Cillian Murphy returns to the role of Thomas Shelby

The Peaky Blinders series appeared back in 2013 and told the story of the Shelby crime family, which was establishing its own order in 1920s Birmingham. The show became very popular, gained a large fan base, and now, after 6 seasons, we are looking forward to a feature film.
Here's What We Know
Netflix has announced that the filming process of the feature film Sharpshooters has officially begun. The project was written by Steven Knight, who also worked on the series.
Netflix also showed Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby, who is much older than in the series. The release date is still unknown. In general, little is known about the film, except that it will take place during the Second World War.
