Insider Tom Henderson wrote that a co-op mode is being developed for Assassin's Creed Shadows, which is planned to be released after the game's release. The co-op mode, codenamed LEAGUE, is in development but does not have a set release date due to the game's postponement.

There are also no details about the mode, but it is likely that Naoe and Yasuke will fight side by side, completing various tasks and destroying enemies.
