Stealth, action, and horror: watch 6 minutes of Metro Awakening VR game gameplay

The VR game Metro Awakening will be released on November 7 on Steam VR, PS VR2, and Meta Quest 2 and 3. And while we have to wait a little more than a month, the authors showed 6 minutes of gameplay.

Here's What We Know

The video shows elements of stealth. For example, an enemy can be quietly knocked out with an object or the butt of a weapon. If there are several enemies standing next to each other, it will be more effective to blow them up with a grenade taken from the backpack. The backpack itself can be accessed almost at any time and serves as an inventory.

We also saw dynamic shootouts, exploration of locations, and encounters with mutants, and it is at this point that the game turns into a horror. So far, Metro Awakening looks like a pretty good game, especially for VR.

It is worth reminding that the game is not the main one in the Metro series, as Awakening takes place in 2028. And it is not developed by the Ukrainian studio 4A Games, but by the Dutch Vertigo Games, which is known for the Arizona Sunshine series.

Players will take on the role of Serdar, a doctor who defies the darkness, radiation, and deadly threats of the Moscow metro in search of his wife and the medicine she needs.
