OnePlus CEO has confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will support wireless magnetic charging

OnePlus has confirmed that their new OnePlus 13 flagship smartphone will support magnetic wireless charging, similar to Apple's MagSafe.

OnePlus president Li Jie Louis has revealed that there are no bamboo cases planned for the new OnePlus 13, but cases with a wood grain interior that support magnetic charging feature will be available.

Earlier leaks indicated that OnePlus is developing magnetic cases with wireless charging support for the OnePlus 13, as well as a magnetic accessory to cool the device. The new flagship is likely to retain the 50W fast wireless charging support like its predecessor.

The OnePlus 13 will be unveiled in China this month, and the company has already started fuelling interest in the new product.
