Apple has started receiving displays for the new iPhone SE 4 from BOE and LG Display
The latest news about the upcoming iPhone SE 4 suggests that Apple is actively preparing for its release. Analyst Ross Young from Display Supply Chain Consultants claims that the company has already started receiving displays for the new model.
Here's What We Know
According to an insider, BOE and LG Display have become the suppliers of the panels, while Samsung Display will not participate in this process.
As a reminder, the 3rd generation iPhone SE has not received any updates in the last two years. Although the new model is likely to be presented only in 2025, it is already known that the display for the iPhone SE 4 will be upgraded based on the technologies used in the iPhone 14.
Yang notes that the new iPhone SE 4 will have a 6.1-inch panel with a resolution of 2532 x 1170 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. Compared to its predecessor, the new product will be much larger: the height will increase to 147 mm and the width to 71.5 mm.
In addition, the new iPhone SE 4 will have other flagship Apple features, the details of which remain a secret.
