Sony to withdraw LittleBigPlanet 3 and its expansion packs from sale at the end of this month

Sony has announced that LittleBigPlanet 3 and all its DLC will be removed from the PlayStation Store on 31 October.

Here's What We Know

Released in 2014 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, LittleBigPlanet 3 will no longer be available for purchase, but those who already own it or purchased it before the removal will retain access. Sony also reminded players that this is the last chance to get the game or its DLC.

This move is not surprising, given that the game's servers, like the rest of the games in the series, have been taken offline due to constant attacks and technical problems. The delisting of LittleBigPlanet from the exchange marks the end of an era for the beloved platformer series.

However, Sackboy continues in the spin-off Sackboy: A Big Adventure, while Media Molecule is focusing on a new, yet-to-be-announced project.
