Two seats, a wing door and no laser sensors: Bloomberg has revealed the first details of Tesla's Cybercab robotaxi

Tesla's "Tesla We, Robot" presentation will take place today - 10 October - in Los Angeles, where the company will unveil the "future of autonomy".

The event is expected to talk about robotaxis and new electric car features from Tesla, but Bloomberg publication has already shared some interesting news.

Here's What We Know

Bloomberg sources claim that the robotaxi from Tesla will be named Cybercab.

The car is designed for two passengers, and the door will open upwards on the principle of "gull wing". Cybercab will be equipped with a combination of cameras and computing technology to navigate the roads.

It is reported that Elon Musk refused to install in Cybercab laser sensors, such as those used in cars of similar concept Cruise and Waymo. Musk came to this decision because of the high cost of sensors, while their functionality is not so indispensable.

The media mentions that at the presentation Tesla will present another car, which will be Robovan (the name is conditional) - a minibus that can carry up to ten passengers or small loads.

According to Bloomberg, Ilon Musk will also announce the Full Self-Driving feature for the Semi electric truck.
