Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra receive security update in the US

On 10 October 2024, it became known that the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra smartphones started receiving the October security update. Users in the United States, including AT&T subscribers, were the first to receive this update. It will soon be available for other operators and countries.

Here's What We Know

This time, Samsung has released an update that focuses exclusively on security. It fixes 30 flaws in the Android system and 12 specific to Galaxy devices. It's worth noting that the update does not address vulnerabilities in the Exynos 2400 chip used in the new models.

How To Switch It On

To download the update, open Settings, go to Software Update and click Download & Install.

We remind you that this update does not include new features, as Samsung has postponed the introduction of Android 15 and One UI 7.0 until 2025. However, some users will be able to test the One UI 7.0 beta this year.
