Casio has confirmed a data breach following an attack by hackers from the Underground group.

The leak involved confidential information about employees, job candidates, business partners and related parties, including legal, financial and personnel documents. The company assures that customer payment data, including credit card information, was not affected.

Last year, Casio also faced a leak on its ClassPad.net educational service, but this time this service was not targeted. Casio is working with the authorities to assess the extent of the incident and mitigate its impact.
