Women's app Peanut launches new tool to track pregnancy using AI
Peanut, a social networking app for women, has announced a new Peanut Track tool for tracking pregnancy.
Here's What We Know
The tool uses data collected over 7 years and artificial intelligence to predict questions women may have at different stages of pregnancy.
The Peanut app, founded in 2017, originally aimed to create a community for women at all stages of their lives, from puberty to menopause. The company now offers personalised recommendations for each stage of pregnancy.
Peanut Track provides information about the current stage of pregnancy, possible symptoms and fetal size. Users can also access traditional pregnancy metrics and content written by gynaecologists. The tool maintains Peanut's core mission of building community by connecting women who are at the same stage of pregnancy. The company's next step will be to launch Peanut Grow, which will help women track the development and milestones of early motherhood.
Peanut has raised $32 million in investment, including $10 million in August 2022, helping the company reach profitability.
