Comic book author Jim Lee and writer Jeph Loeb reunited to make a sequel to Batman: Hush. The first issue is due to appear in March 2025 in Batman #158.
Batman: Hush was released in 2002-2003 and was published as a 12-issue series as part of the main line of Dark Knight comics.
The plot of the comic book focuses on the mysterious new enemy Hush, who is planning an intricate plot against Bruce Wayne and his alter ego Batman. The enemy uses a host of well-known Gotham villains, such as the Joker, Catwoman, Scarecrow, the Riddler and others, to attack Batman, but remains in the shadows himself. All the while, Batman tries to understand who is behind the plot and discovers that his past and personal relationships play a significant role in what is happening.
In addition to the new antagonist, Hush also explores Bruce's relationships with several key characters, including Catwoman, with whom he develops a romantic line. The comic book highlights the emotional and psychological aspects of Batman, his trauma over the loss of his parents and the tensions with friends and enemies.
